Overview:

Mark is a Trainee Solicitor based at our Northampton office.

Experience:

Mark is currently sitting the third seat of his training contract in our commercial property department where he is actively involved in residential development, dealing with site set ups and the disposal of residential plots. Mark also has experience of dealing with leasehold transactions, including negotiating commercial leases and lease renewals, and various Land Registry issues such as first registration of title.

Mark has previously spent six months in our corporate department where he gained experience of both large and small corporate transactions including supervising due diligence and drafting ancillary documents and six months in our employment department where he gained experience in contentious matters such as unfair dismissal and discrimination claims and non-contentious work including variation of contractual terms, redundancy procedures and preparing employment contracts and policies.

Education:

Mark read law at The University of Sheffield before completing the legal practice course and obtaining a Masters in commercial law at the same institution.
