Overview:

Kate is a trainee solicitor based at our Cambridge office.

Experience:

Kate began her training contract with Hewitsons in September 2010.  Since joining the firm Kate has completed seats in contentious Intellectual Property and Agriculture. Kate is currently completing her final seat in our Dispute Resolution department, having also spent six months with the team in her third seat, gaining experience in a variety of contentious work including property disputes, contentious trusts and probate matters and commercial litigation. 

Education:

Kate completed an undergraduate degree in English Literature and French at the University of Edinburgh, spending one year studying abroad at the Université de Borgogne in Dijon, France. After graduating in 2007 she completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford.
