Overview:

Laura is a solicitor in the Agricultural Team in Cambridge.

Experience:

Laura advises clients on a wide range of property matters. Her work includes undertaking first registrations of land, both residential property and larger land estates; sales and purchases of all types of properties; advising clients in relation to assured shorthold tenancies; acting for clients in relation to commercial and non commercial leases (including farm business tenancies). Laura also provides advice in relation to assignments of leases, and frequently provides support to Hewitsons probate department in preparing assents and transfers of land on the death of land owners. She also deals with the preparation of deeds of grant of various rights and gives advice in relation to land ownership claims based on possession.

Education:

Laura read law at the University of Nottingham before completing her legal practice course at Nottingham law School. She trained as a solicitor with Hewitsons, gaining experience in Agricultural Law, Employment Law, Commercial law and Commercial property Law, qualifying into the Agricultural team in September 2006.
