Catherine is a partner in the Private Client team based in Northampton specialising in wills, probate, trusts and estate planning. She also advises on powers of attorneys.

Experience:

Catherine advises individuals, private company shareholders and farmers on their wills and Inheritance Tax position. Her experience includes advising clients on how to structure their affairs to mitigate any Inheritance Tax liability.

Catherine advises personal representatives on the administration of estates and trustees on their powers and duties.

Background:

Catherine qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and joined Hewitsons in 2001. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and the Private Client section of the Law Society.
