Overview:

James is a solicitor in the Northampton Agricultural and Rural Business Team.  He advises agricultural estates, farmers and landowners on commercial property and agricultural matters.  James also advises charities on property related matters.

Experience:

James advises on a broad range of matters including the sale and purchase of agricultural land, development clawbacks and commercial leases.  He also advises on estate management and landlord and tenant issues.

Background:

James read philosophy at Birmingham University before completing his post graduate diploma and legal practice course at BBP in London.  He trained in London before qualifying in 2003, specialising in commercial property before joining the Hewitsons agricultural team in 2004.
