Overview:

David is a partner in the Rural Group specialising in advising on family farming arrangements, to include the retention and development of the business for future generations. He also advises many clients involved in the bloodstock industry.

Experience:

Since joining Hewitsons in 1970 David has specialised in rural land matters, in particular advising clients in the M11 corridor and the Hertfordshire and Essex borders.

Background:

David qualified in London but since joining Hewitsons has assisted in the development of a strong rural client base, in particular for the owner/occupier farming families.

David has been involved in various major projects for diversification of rural business including development for residential and commercial use often associated with the development of Stansted Airport and the surrounding areas.

David is a past managing partner of Hewitsons and also past chairman of Arthur Rank Hospice Charity and an existing governor of The Perse School Cambridge. When time permits, travel, two young grandchildren and a love of the countryside makes for a relaxing time away from the rigours of office life!
