Overview:

Yvette is a partner in the Milton Keynes Property Team and specialises in large scale housing and mixed development projects working mainly with English Partnerships. Her main activities involve the disposal of sites to both commercial housing providers and the larger developing RSLs, advising her client throught the development process, drafting model documents for a variety of housing types and tenures, advising and negotiating on clawback and overage arrangements and general property matters. Yvette was recently involved in the drafting of model building documents to cater for carbon zero development and public sector land disposals.

Background:

She read law at the University of London before completing her legal practice course at the College of Law, Store Street, London. She trained as a solicitor with Commission for the New Towns and upon qualifying joined their property/planning law team in 1994. In 1997 she joined Sharpe Pritchard to work in their public sector team and moved to Denton Wilde Sapte, Milton Keynes in 1998. Yvette joined Hewitsons in April 2004 and became a partner in March 2005.
