New Senior Partner for Hewitsons

We are delighted to announce that Charles Hewitson is our new Senior Partner, taking over the reins from Peter Gutteridge.
In his new role, Charles will be an ambassador for the firm, attending a wide-range of conferences, seminars and business meetings.
Charles, who has been a partner since 1979, said: "I am delighted to take on this important role during what are exciting times at the firm. Hewitsons is continuing to grow and grow and it is a great honour to be asked to represent the firm in this way."
He is already well-known for his work as Race Director of the' annual Chariots of Fire charity relay race, which this year is raising money for Red Balloon, a safe haven for children who have been bullied, and Romsey Mill, working with some of the most disadvantaged children, young people and families in Cambridgeshire.
Charles is head of the Cambridge agriculture and rural affairs team and acts for a wide range of landed estates, farming companies and Cambridge colleges. He has also taken on the role of company director and secretary in various farming and property companies.
