Overview:

Jeanette is a partner is the Rural Group, specialising on agricultural tenancies, contracting agreements, joint farming arrangements, and rural land issues. She also has experience of dealing with food businesses in the fresh produce sector.

Experience:

Since qualifying in 1990, Jeanette has specialised in rural land matters, and has worked for farmers, landed estates and institutions that own and farm land in East Anglia, with some further afield land holdings, such as Powys and Cornwall.

Background:

Jeanette went to Hull University at the same time as Colin Jones, who also followed her to Taylor Vinters, as did her family law tutor. Small world!

Jeanette ran the family farm for 7 years from 1991 when her farming parents decided to start sailing round the world. Jeanette comes from Norfolk, and lives near Newmarket with her husband Nigel and two children.

Jeanette's pastimes include chasing errant gun dogs, promoting the research activities of the GWCT, gardening and growing vegetables, and helping run the local Sunday Club for the local Church with Tim Middleton's wife Jacqueline.
