Overview:

Robert is a partner in the Disputes Resolution Group. He acts for commercial and private clients in property related disputes.

Experience:

He deals with the full range of property and agricultural disputes, including dilapidations, forfeiture proceedings, lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, right of way and boundary disputes, restrictive covenants and possession proceedings. He has represented clients in mediations and arbitrations and in proceedings before the Adjudicator to the Land Registry.

Robert also acts for a major motorcycle manufacturer in defending personal injury and product liability claims.

Background:

Robert read law at Manchester University. He trained as a solicitor at Manches, qualifying in 1991 and becoming a partner and head of the property litigation team in 2001. He joined Hewitsons in November 2004. He is a member of the Property Litigation Association and on the Committee of the Cambridgeshire District Law Society.
