Overview:

Anita is a solicitor in the Northampton pensions team advising employers and trustees in relation to their pension scheme matters.

Experience:

Anita advises clients on a full range of pensions law issues including drafting various types of pension scheme documentation, interpreting the provisions of Trust Deed and Rules and advising in relation to pension scheme administration, advising clients on the practical impact of statutory provisions and case law and assisting with responses to the Pensions Ombudsman following a member complaint.

Anita is a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and a student member of the Pensions Management Institute.

Education:

Anita gained her law degree at the University of Leeds before completing her Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University in Leicester. She trained as a solicitor at Hewitsons, qualifying in September 2005. After a period working within the pensions team at Shoosmiths Solicitors in Milton Keynes, Anita rejoined Hewitsons in June 2008.
