Overview:

Eleanor advises clients in relation to dispute resolution matters and litigation, including commercial contract disputes, defended debt claims, enforcement of judgments, insolvency procedures by creditors (bankruptcy and winding up), professional negligence and property litigation. Eleanor also acts as advocate for clients in the County Court.

Eleanor acts for a wide range of clients including corporate entities, independent schools, charities, private individuals and insolvency practitioners.

Experience:

Eleanor has recently assisted a Dutch Receiver to take possession and sale of a property in Greenwich. Eleanor also assists a large national network of independent schools with their fees collection. Eleanor had recent experience of advocacy before a regulatory body when she represented a client in a complaint determined by the General Chiropractic Council.

Eleanor is part of the Northampton Dispute Resolution Team which was recently described as attracting "high end litigation, often with an international element" by the Chambers Directory. The team is also a top ranked team for commercial litigation in the East Midlands according to the Legal 500.
