Overview:

Elizabeth is a Partner in the Cambridge private client team. She advises clients on wills, estate and succession planning, inheritance tax, capital gains tax and the administration of estates and trusts.

Experience:

Having started her legal career in the corporate team of Hewitsons in Cambridge Elizabeth has particular experience in advising owners of family businesses and farmers on  structuring their affairs efficiently from a tax perspective and on succession planning.  More generally, Elizabeth advises on the establishment and use of trusts, the administration of estates and powers of attorney.

Background:

Elizabeth read law at Nottingham University before completing her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. She trained as a solicitor with Hewitsons, qualifying in1996 and was made a Partner in 2001. Elizabeth is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
