Overview:

Danielle is a Solicitor in the Commercial Dispute Resolution Team in Cambridge.

Experience:

Danielle has experience of a broad range of commercial disputes including contract disputes, corporate and personal insolvency, disqualification of directors, disputes relating to land and negligence.

Danielle takes a practical approach to dispute resolution and in suitable cases plays an active role in seeking to resolve matters through negotiations, mediation or expert determination.

Education:

Danielle read Law at the University of Sheffield and graduated in 2006. Her studies included a semester abroad at the University of Helsinki in Finland where she focused on International and European Law. Danielle completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in London.

Additional Information:

Directors Disqualification Proceedings – Danielle has acted for a number of company directors faced with the threat of disqualification following the insolvent liquidation of their companies.

Debt recovery – Danielle has experience of assisting clients in the recovery of debt including statutory demands, bankruptcy/winding up petitions and commencing court proceedings.

Claims to land – Danielle has recently acted for a client successfully defending a claim to land on the basis of adverse possession and proprietary estoppel. She is currently also dealing with an application seeking a declaration for the transfer of land from the Administrators of an estate.

Restrictive Covenants– Danielle has assisted various clients with applications to the Lands Tribunal to vary and/or discharge restrictive covenants.
