Overview:
Lynne is a senior solicitor who advises clients on both contentious and non-contentious areas of employment law.
Experience:
Lynne advises clients on a full range of employment law work acting for both employers and employees. Her contentious experience includes unfair dismissal, redundancies, all areas of discrimination claims (including disability, sex and race discrimination) and breach of contract claims. Lynne's non contentious experience includes guiding employers through statutory recognition procedures, advising on TUPE transfers, restructures and general daily employment law advice (including variation of contractual terms, disciplinary and grievance procedures and maternity related queries). Lynne also assists with drafting and advising on contracts of employments, director's service agreements, company policies & procedures and post-termination restrictions.
Background:
Lynne studied for her degree in Law & Business Studies at the University of Birmingham after which she went on to complete the legal practice course at De Montfort University (based at the University of Birmingham). Lynne then went on to work as a Finance Paralegal Manager at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London for 2 years before commencing her training contract with Fennemores in Milton Keynes. Lynne qualified into Fennemores' employment team in September 2005 and joined the Hewitsons' employment team in May 2006.
