Overview:

Andrew is a solicitor in the Northampton employment law team and an advocate at employment tribunals. He advises clients on both contentious and non-contentious areas of employment law.

Experience:

Andrew advises clients on a full range of employment law work. His contentious experience includes unfair dismissal, redundancies, age and disability discrimination and breach of contract claims. Andrew's non- contentious experience includes advising on senior executive terminations in a national and multinational context, TUPE and the employment law aspects of pensions, as well as drafting contracts of employment, director's service agreements, company policies and procedures and advising on workplace disputes.

Background:

Andrew read Philosophy at the University of Kent, completing the CPE at the University of Birmingham and the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in London. He was called to the bar in 1998 and has practised exclusively in employment law since 2001. He joined Hewitsons employment law team in April 2006.
