Hewitsons plays key role in buyout of UK's leading manufacturer of park homes

Hewitsons' corporate team has advised on the buyout of Omar Homes, the leading manufacturer of park homes in the UK.
The deal involved former owner Paul Pleszko buying back the business from the administrators with the help of entrepreneur, Tony Roach.
Jason Williams, Hewitsons corporate partner, said: "We were delighted to be able to help Omar who are long time clients of Hewitsons. We were able to pull out all the stops to ensure this deal went ahead despite the difficult economic climate we are currently facing. It was certainly a difficult transaction because funding is not easy to obtain at present."
Omar, which is based in Brandon, Suffolk, went into administration in February after experiencing cash flow difficulties. Mr Pleszko and Mr Roach came together to form a joint venture to buy back this family controlled business.
