Directors' fiduciary duties seminar

Hewitsons' corporate team held a seminar entitled, 'Director's Fiduciary Duties', on 16 June at The Trinity Centre in Cambridge.
Simon Biggin, Partner at Hewitsons chaired the seminar and presented alongside two guest speakers from Littleton Chambers, Sam Neaman and Andrews Stafford QC.
Andrew and Sam summarised the duties that directors should be aware of and the current stance the Courts are taking in dealing with these issues. Simon discussed the consequences of breach of these duties in the current economic climate.
Simon said, "The seminar was well attended and it was a good opportunity for us to meet with so many clients and contacts. We were privileged to have our two guest speakers join us today and they provided an excellent overview of directors' duties."
