This is a time of uncertainty for many charities and other not-for-profit organisations,with concern growing about the level of charitable donations and the permanence of local government contracts. Here at Hewitsons we have seen a notable increase in mergers and other collaborative working schemes, suggesting a growing awareness amongst charities of the benefits of economies of scale that such schemes can afford.
