Overview:

Iain is a solicitor in the Cambridge Commercial Property team.

Experience:

Iain advises clients on a full range of commercial property transactions. His experience includes buying and selling freehold properties, site acquisition for property developers and associated site development matters, granting, acquiring and transferring leases and other related leasehold matters.

Background:

Initially intending to specialise in cancer research, Iain studied Biomedicine at Lancaster University before converting to law in Manchester, where he completed the post-graduate diploma in law and legal practice course. Iain completed his training contract at Stanley Tee in Hertfordshire in 2006 and joined Hewitsons commercial property team in June 2007. Iain also has a successful sporting background, being a former British Youth cycling champion and has previously represented Great Britain, before settling on a career path in the law.
