Overview:

Jenny is a Trust Manager in the Private Client team in the Northampton office. She deals primarily with the accounting, taxation and administration work for Trustee clients along with some personal tax work and administration work for Attorney clients.

Experience:

Jenny deals with a large number of trusts, of varying value and complexity. She prepares Trust Accounts, completes annual Trust Tax Returns covering Income and Capital Gains Tax in addition to periodic Inheritance Tax submissions and all other general day-to-day administration work. She also advises Trustees on their obligations and statutory duties and powers.

Jenny also handles the personal tax compliance work for a small number of clients and completes administration work for both registered and unregistered Powers of Attorney.

Background:

Before joining Hewitsons in August 2001, Jenny worked at NatWest Private Banking for thirteen years in a variety of roles, focussing on trust and estates administration but also including investment management, staff training, financial services compliance and as a member of a specialist project team.

Jenny has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 1996 and the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) since 2004.
