We are seeking a Firmwide office manager to join our team.

The successful candidate must be able to ensure the smooth running of our Cambridge, Northampton, Milton Keynes and London offices. With responsibility for the Reception and Administration Teams, including oversight of all recruitment activity, and pastoral well-being. Previous office management experience and being able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team is essential.

Residential Property Lawyer
Cambridge Office

We are seeking a Residential Property Lawyer to join our busy Cambridge based team.

The successful candidate must be able to manage a varied caseload with experience in leaseholds, unregistered titles and transfers of part. Being able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team is essential.

Our Residential Property Team consists of 1 Partner, 1 Senior Associate, 1 Associate, 1 Solicitor and 3 PAs.

PA - Commercial Property

We are seeking a PA to join the Property Business Unit at either our Cambridge office, Northampton office or Milton Keynes office.

The successful candidate must have excellent PA skills, a good attitude to work and an enthusiasm to do a good job. Legal experience in Commercial Property work would be ideal. They will be joining a Team of 3 EAs and 4 PAs, providing support to 13 Partners, 2 Legal Directors, 14 Solicitors, 3 Plot Sales Assistants.

This is a full-time role and the hours of work are, generally, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch.

Training Programme

Training Contracts are offered at Northampton and Cambridge, with possible placements in London and Milton Keynes. Trainees complete four placements of six months each in a range of different legal specialisms. During each seat, the trainee is supervised closely by a partner or senior solicitor, and progress is monitored on a day-to-day basis as well as in a formal three-monthly review, carried out mid-seat and at end of seat. The firm provides a comprehensive induction programme specifically tailored for the needs of trainee solicitors. The Professional Skills Course is coupled with an extensive programme of trainee solicitors' seminars provided by specialist in-house lawyers.
