COVID-19 Our Employees

Our staff are as important to us as ever, as we endeavour to run the business pridently during these unprecedented times, providing support to them as they operate remotely, learning to adapt to a new way of working, operating 'business as normal' where our clients are concerned.

We understand that the current pandemic is presenting different challenges and concerns for our people and we strive to support them every step of the way.

  • Mindful of our clients' needs, we understand that home working has put increased pressure on individuals and we accommodate flexible working wherever possible.
  • We have a Wellbeing Retreat page on our intranet containing a variety of links to promote emotional and physical wellbeing including: free workouts, mindfulness and relaxation classes, free training courses, quizzes and puzzles.
  • We have transferred all ongoing training to an online portal.
  • Where practical the distribution of equipment to ensure each person has the correct tools and set up to be able to work from home.
  • In April 2020 we introduced the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) a confidential employee benefit designed to help our colleagues deal with personal or professional problems that could be affecting their home life or work life, health and general wellbeing. The EAP service provides a complete support network that offers expert advice and compassionate guidance 24/7, covering a wide range of issues. Access to free counselling sessions is also included.
  • All our staff have personal access and follow ups with our firmwide fully trained Mental Health First Alders.
  • We are undertaking pulse surveys to capture any health and wellbeing issues.
  • Our HR team are holding weekly virtual "informal chats/ check ins" with each of our business units.
