Hannah Postle wins CDLS award

We are delighted to announce that on Friday 18 March, Hannah Postle, won the Cambridge & District Law Society Newly Qualified Lawyer Excellence Awards.

Guest of honour at the Annual Dinner & Awards, held at Sidney Sussex College in Cambridge, was Jonathan Smithers, President of the Law Society of England & Wales. The Award was presented to Hannah by Lauren Lieser of sponsor Geodesys.

Speaking about her win Hannah said: “It’s very much appreciated. To be honest, it was a bit of a shock so I just concentrated on not falling over on my walk up to collect the award!”

According to Colin Jones, Managing Partner at Hewitsons: “We are delighted that Hannah has won this award.  As one of our rising stars she has been rightly recognised for her outstanding commitment and dedication.”

Hannah joined the firm in September 2012, and qualified into the Commercial Dispute Resolution team. As well as focusing on commercial and contractual disputes, Hannah is part of the Intellectual Property litigation team, and has experience in dealing with disputes involving patents, trade marks and copyright claims.

She has worked on a number of complex professional negligence cases, as well as partnership disputes and claims brought against financial advisors. She has also advised on a range of defamation matters, including responding to comments published online, and making use of Take Down notice procedures.

Hannah has assisted clients at various stages of the dispute resolution process, including alternative dispute resolution through mediation.
