Hewitsons are proud to once again be the sponsor of the ‘Business Innovation’ category at the Cambridge News Business Excellence Awards 2013, which aims to find the most advanced companies in the region in terms of innovation research and development.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the awards, with Hewitsons sponsoring the event from the very beginning. All winners will be announced at a gala dinner and award ceremony in the Great Hall, Kings College, Cambridge on Thursday 21st March.
Last year saw PneumaCare walk away with the prestigious Business Innovation title, being praised for its amazing and ground-breaking non-contact chest scanning technology, which could replace traditional invasive methods. In 2011 the award was won by Voice Commerce Group, a Financial Services Group delivering a wide range of payment services and identity verification solutions to consumers and businesses.
John Dix, Managing Partner at Hewitsons in Cambridge, said: “As a firm we strive for and admire innovation, which is why we are delighted to sponsor the innovation category at these prestigious awards. Throughout our time sponsoring these awards we have witnessed some impressive, innovative winners including the likes of the pioneering PneumaCare last year. We are really looking forward to seeing what exciting businesses we encounter this year.”
