Hewitsons supports Peterborough 900 Campaign

On 10th October 2013 Carolyn Bagley & Catherine Ball, both Partners within Hewitsons Private Client team, were guest speakers as part of the Peterborough 900 Campaign, which aims to raise £10 million in celebration of the 900th Anniversary of Peterborough Cathedral in 2018.

On 10th October 2013 Carolyn Bagley & Catherine Ball, both Partners within Hewitsons Private Client team, were guest speakers as part of the Peterborough 900 Campaign, which aims to raise £10 million in celebration of the 900th Anniversary of Peterborough Cathedral in 2018. The evening seminar, set within the picturesque setting of Holdenby House, by kind permission of James Lowther and family, was organised to promote the Legacy Giving Programme within the Peterborough 900 Campaign. The seminar covered many vital topics including Wills, Charitable Legacy Giving, Powers of Attorney and nursing care costs. The Chairman of the Peterborough 900 Campaign, Simon Schanschieff, and Canon Ruddock, also presented on the importance of supporting Peterborough Cathedral through Charitable Legacy Giving. Carolyn Bagley and Catherine Ball delivered a very informative and helpful presentation with one guest quoting "A most informative evening, and a talk well put over with some humour on a generally unamusing subject." Following this seminar Peterborough Cathedral will continue their multifaceted Campaign, comprising of a number of projects that will enable the Cathedral to engage with thousands more adults and children, particularly those in the Peterborough Diocese, which includes the whole county of Northamptonshire.
