On 10th May our London office hosted its annual quiz night at the Slug & Lettuce on Fetter Lane in the City of London.

In addition to providing a fun and relaxed environment for networking and entertaining clients, the evening also allowed teams to test their general knowledge with a quiz covering topics such as History, Art and Literature, Sport, Music and TV and Entertainment. The evening was very well attended with 20 teams competing against each other to win not only the glory of being this year’s winners but also a trophy and champagne! Brown ale was available for the losers.

During the evening a raffle was held in support of Veterans Aid. This raised over £500. The prize, a Kindle Paper White, was then generously auctioned by the winner to raise another £85 for the charity. The successful bidder was Steve Evers, a Senior Clerk at 3PB! Thanks to Steve and everyone else who took part for their generosity on the night.

Chris Knight, Partner and Head of our Charities service said: "Our client Veterans Aid does wonderful work addressing homelessness and connected needs in the community of ex-servicemen and women. We are delighted to have raised their profile and some funds from amongst other clients and colleagues. This made an extremely enjoyable evening even better!”
