About me

I work with private clients to help sort out their family’s legal affairs. It is hugely satisfying working with people to arrange their affairs for the benefit of their family and loved ones, helping them to find solutions to potentially difficult problems.

As well as being highly experienced in this area of law, I’m also a qualified chartered tax advisor, meaning I don’t just give options, I give advice when required. I pride myself on a knowledgeable, friendly and efficient approach and work with a range of clients and organisations, from individual families to farmers and agricultural estates.

I provide expertise in a wide range of areas, including wills, probates, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, estate planning and capital taxes for farming estates.

Outside of work, I’m enthusiastic about rugby and support the Welsh and Northampton Saints teams.

Top Tips & FAQs

Read questions I'm frequently asked

Can my spouse be an executor of my Will, as well as the main beneficiary?

Yes. This is perfectly usual. We put special provisions in the Will so that the spouse can take full part in the administration of the estate, despite any potential conflict of interest. We can help if they need advice or want us to deal with the administration and so they will not have to deal with it alone.

Can the Lasting Power of Attorney wait until I’m older?

No. This needs to be done whilst you’re fit and well. Otherwise, it may not be possible to create one and if someone needs to be appointed to the court as your Deputy to deal with your affairs, because you don’t have an LPA, then this is long-winded and expensive.
