Dominic heads up the firm's Dispute and Litigation services. He acts in commercial disputes, including litigation, arbitration and ADR and in insolvency and corporate recovery work.
His practice areas include commercial contract disputes, professional negligence matters, IT cases, trust proceedings, company proceedings, shareholder and partnership disputes, cross-border disputes, financial services cases and insolvency and corporate recovery. He also advises boards of directors on aspects of corporate governance and is an experienced mediation advocate. His clients include a range of publicly quoted companies and private companies (both domestic and international), charities, partnerships, local authorities, high net worth individuals as well as leading insolvency practitioners in the region.
Dominic was a Commercial Litigator at a City of London law firm, both in London and in Hong Kong, before joining Hewitsons in 1991.
Dominic has been appointed Deputy Lieutenant for Northamptonshire and holds the office of Under Sheriff of Northamptonshire. He is one of South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership’s (SEMLEP) Envoys and is Honorary Solicitor of the Northamptonshire Association of Youth Clubs (NAYC)
His professional memberships include: Member of the Civil Litigation Section of the Law Society, Full Member of the Insolvency Lawyers Association and Associate Member of the UK Constitutional Law Association.
