Experience
Gemma has experience in areas such as unfair dismissal, redundancy, equal pay and discrimination. She advises both employers and employees in relation to the negotiation of settlement agreements. Gemma also undertakes work in less contentious areas, such as advising clients in relation to redundancy procedures, variation of contractual terms, employment contracts and employment policies. Gemma advises employer clients in respect of Business Immigration, including advice in respect of registering to become a licensed sponsor and navigating the UKVI Points Based System.
Background
Gemma read law at Warwick University before completing her legal practice course at Nottingham Law School. Gemma undertook her training contract at Hewitsons and qualified into the Employment team in Northampton in September 2009.
