Katherine is a Legal Director in the Private Client team, based in the firm’s Cambridge office.

Experience

Katherine advises clients on a broad range of Private Client matters. In particular, Katherine focuses on tax and succession planning for individuals, their families and Trustees often involving landed estates, private limited companies and international elements. This work involves the preparation of tax efficient and flexible Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, the creation and administration of Trusts, structuring of Family Investment Companies and the administration of complex estates

Background

Katherine read Law at the University of Reading and achieved a distinction in her subsequent Legal Practice Course. She joined Hewitsons as a trainee Solicitor in 2013 and qualified in 2015.

Additional information

Katherine is a member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and has obtained a distinction in STEP’s Advanced Certificate of UK Tax for International Clients.
