Patricia is a Partner in our Northampton Real Estate Team.
Trish has over 23 years’ experience in negotiating commercial leases and lease renewals, acting for both landlords and tenants, as well as in freehold and leasehold commercial sales and purchases. She manages legal aspects of substantial property portfolios for several key clients. Other areas of expertise include options, secured lending, property aspects of company acquisitions and pre-let agreements. She acts for several charities and educational institutions. Trish has been a partner with Hewitsons since 2008.
Patricia was educated at Northampton High School for Girls and King's College, Taunton before reading Law at Durham University, where she obtained a 2:1 degree. She went on to study at the College of Law in York.
She trained as a solicitor at Shoosmiths in Northampton before qualifying into their Commercial Property department in 1994. Patricia took a career break, spending two years teaching English in France before returning to the UK and to the law in 1999. She spent some time practising residential conveyancing and then with the Commercial Property team at Taylor Walton solicitors in Luton for 5 years before joining Hewitsons in 2007
