Safeguarding in charities

Safeguarding in charities

Safeguarding should be a central concern for all charities and there is no room for complacency. The Charity Commission’s renewed emphasis on safeguarding as a primary concern needs to be taken on board and care taken to understand its far reaching implication. All charities must have appropriate safeguarding policies and procedures in place and we ensure that our clients have access to our specialist expertise and knowledge in this area.

Our advice and services cover:

• Governors’ and trustees’ duties
• Policies, procedures and training
• Serious incident reporting
• Reporting to relevant agencies
• Risk and reputation management
• Managing stakeholders' concerns
